Welcome to Douglas County Yard Sales, a free community service operated by Major Design and Solutions. By using this website, posting a sale, or subscribing to alerts, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Douglas County Yard Sales provides a free directory and map of yard, garage, estate, and moving sales in and around Douglas County, Missouri, lets anyone post a sale for free, and offers optional weekend alerts and a route planner. The service is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

Posting a sale

When you post a sale, you agree that: the information you provide is accurate and you have the right to hold the sale at the location listed; you will not post anything unlawful, fraudulent, or offensive, or offer items that are illegal to sell; and you grant us permission to display the sale details and photos you submit.

All listings are reviewed before they appear on the map and automatically expire after the sale's end date. We may edit, decline, or remove any listing at our discretion, and we are not obligated to publish any submission.

Messaging consent

If you opt in to alerts, you consent to receive recurring text alerts and/or emails as described in our Privacy Policy. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, reply STOP to cancel texts or HELP for help, and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including scraping or copying listings in bulk, interfering with the service, harassing others, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.

No warranty; sales are between you and the seller

Sale information is submitted by users, and we do not independently verify it. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any sale will take place, that listings are accurate, or that items will be available. Any visit to a sale and any transaction between you and a seller is solely between those parties and at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Major Design and Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service or your dealings with any sale or user found through it.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Major Design and Solutions from any claims arising out of your sale listings, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.

Changes

We may change the service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
